When HUXWRX released the Ventum 7.62, it was an instant success. The Ventum 5.56 from HUXWRX takes the great aspects of the 7.62 version and shrinks it down to be optimized for the AR-15 and other semi-auto or select-fire weapons. Unlike the Flow series, the Ventum features a HUB/Bravo/Omega mounting solution. This allows users to enjoy the included 1/2x28 direct thread mount or adapt the Ventum 5.56 to nearly any commercially available mounting system.
HUXWRX developed the Flow-Through technology used in the Ventum 5.56 and most of their other offerings. This lets gasses cool down while being directed forward, resulting in drastically reduced backpressure. Without excess backpressure generated by traditional silencers, the operator will enjoy a much more pleasant shooting experience, and the firearm will run more naturally. Flow-Through tech reduces toxic gasses being delivered to the shooter's face, decreases 'port pop,' keeps bolt velocity normal, prevents additional recoil, allows the firearm to run cleaner, and prevents premature wear.
These benefits come from a unique design that departs from traditional baffled silencers. The full-auto-rated Ventum 5.56 can be cleaned should the need arise. The core can easily be removed, allowing performance to remain high over a lifetime of use.
