The XR920 Foundation by Shadow Systemsdeveloped out of conversations between old-school gun guys, the type who aren’t fussy about aesthetics and want only the essential features. Built on the same frames as all Shadow Systems pistols, the FOUNDATION SERIES touts sleek ergonomics, real-world shootability, and bet-your-life reliability at a lower price.

The Shadow Systems XR920 is built on Shadow Systems’ world class frame. Optimized wrap-around texture gives supreme control during rapid fire without wearing uncomfortably against the body when concealed. Featuring three interchangeable backstraps that change not the size of the grip but the angle of the bore, the Shadow Systems frame can be tailored to the shooter’s natural point of aim. A deep cut above the trigger guard provides greater control with a modern thumbs-forward shooting grip. Lastly, the gently extended and upswept beavertail prevents slide bite without the characteristic oversized appearance of other frames in the market.

Atop the frame, FOUNDATION SERIES pistols feature a nitrided slide with angled pocket-cut serrations. All FOUNDATION SERIES pistols come equipped with the patented Shadow Systems multi-footprint optic cut, allowing for a direct mount of most major optic brands with the longest and strongest screws in the industry. Shadow Systems adds steel sights to the slide with a plain black serrated rear and white dot front which afford a lower 1/3 cowitness with most optics. The match grade, smooth-finish nitrided barrel is rated for +P ammo and is conventionally rifled.

Internals include a carbon steel guide rod and a drop-safe, polymer trigger. The trigger has a 4.5-5.0 pound trigger pull and a crisp, tactile reset. FOUNDATION SERIES pistols ship with two magpul magazines.
